I owe you both a heartfelt apology. I know that I’ve let my bitterness and resentment towards our upbringing cloud my view of you, and for that, I am truly sorry. It was wrong of me to take my frustrations out on you, the brothers who always tried to include me and offer kindness when I felt like an outsider. Reflecting on my past, I understand now how unfair it was for me to distance myself from you. You both carried the weight of our family expectations, and instead of supporting you, I let envy fester. You deserved a brother who uplifted you, not one who resented your roles as the heir and the protector. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to navigate our family dynamics without my support, and I regret that my actions may have made your burdens heavier. I want to do better. I’m committed to being more present and supportive, not just for you but for my son as well. Our family is important to me, and I want to rebuild the trust that I’ve broken.
