Yelling and Insulting After a Bad Day

I’m really sorry for how I treated you the other night. Yelling at you and calling you a dumbass was completely uncalled for, and I regret letting my bad day spill over into our relationship. You didn’t deserve that, especially when all you were trying to do was be supportive. I can only imagine how hurtful my words must have been, and I want you to know that I fully own my actions. I was frustrated, but that’s no excuse for taking it out on you. You deserve to feel respected and loved, not belittled. I realize now how my words can cut deep, and the last thing I want is to make you feel unappreciated or undervalued. To make sure this doesn’t happen again, I’m committed to finding healthier ways to cope with my stress. I’ll work on better communication when I’m feeling overwhelmed, so I can express my feelings without lashing out. You mean too much to me for my anger to come between us. I understand if you need some time to process this. I’m here whenever you feel ready to talk, and I hope we can work through this together.
