Canceling Our Retreat Plans

I’m really sorry for canceling our plans to attend the retreat together. I know how much you were looking forward to spending that time with me, and I can only imagine how disappointed you must feel. I completely understand that it’s not just about missing the trip itself, but also about the connection we were going to share during that special time. I take full responsibility for my decision to back out, and I want you to know that it wasn't made lightly. I didn’t think through how it would affect you, and that was thoughtless of me. You’ve always been there for me, and I should have honored our plans with more care. To make it up to you, I’d love to plan another day just for us—maybe a weekend brunch or a little outing where we can catch up and connect. I want to ensure this doesn’t happen again, and I will be more mindful of our commitments in the future. I value our relationship deeply, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.
