Asking for Something That Hurt You

Dear Shreya,

I've been thinking about asking you for that voice note, and I realize now how it might have felt like pressure or like I wasn't respecting something you weren't ready to give. I hate that I did that—especially knowing how much our friendship means to me.

Three years of us laughing together, the nok-jhok, the real conversations—that matters so much more to me than whatever I was asking for in that moment. I should have been more thoughtful about your boundaries instead of just asking.

I genuinely want things to go back to normal between us. The easy conversations, the jokes, the way things were. I hope you can forgive me, and I promise I'll be more careful about respecting what you're comfortable with. You mean too much to me to let this sit.
