Falling Asleep During Our Nightly Talks

I know how frustrating it must be when we're talking at night and I just drift off mid-conversation, leaving you waiting there with nothing. You're taking time to be with me, and I'm letting you down by not staying present. That's not fair to you, and I'm genuinely sorry.

I hate that you're left hanging, wondering if I'm coming back or just gone. I need to do better about this — whether that means we talk at a time when I'm more alert, or I actually make the effort to keep myself awake when we're together like this. You deserve someone who shows up for you, not someone who checks out halfway through.
