Falling Asleep and Breaking My Promise

I keep doing the thing I promised I wouldn't do, and I hate that. You wait for my replies during our night conversations, and then I just fall asleep without warning — leaving you hanging. I've already told you this wouldn't happen again, and I did it anyway. That's on me, and I know how frustrating it must feel.

I'm not making excuses. I need to actually change this instead of just saying I will. I'm going to be more careful about when I'm too tired to stay present with you, and I'll let you know upfront if I'm fading instead of just disappearing.
