A note for you

Pushing Too Hard and Hurting You

Dear Sazia,

I hate that I made you cry. I can see now that I pushed when I should have stepped back, and I let my own momentum override what you actually needed from me in that moment. That wasn't fair to you, and I'm genuinely sorry.

I know an apology doesn't undo what happened or instantly make it right. But I want you to know that I do understand how I hurt you, and I'm not going to brush past that or pretend it was small. It wasn't small—not to you, and not to me either.

I'm going to be more thoughtful and careful with you. You deserve that. I don't want to be someone who makes your day harder, and I'm going to work at being better about listening before I act, and being gentler with my words.

I care about you, and I'm sorry.

Neev
