I messed up and I know it hurt you. I wasn't thinking straight, and instead of being there for you the way you deserve, I made things worse. That wasn't fair to you.

You mean everything to me, and the last thing I want is to let you down. I'm truly sorry for being thoughtless, and I'm going to do better. You shouldn't have to deal with my mistakes like that.
