I Let Excitement Override What Matters

I've been thinking about what I did, and I hate that I let my excitement take over like that. I wasn't thinking clearly, and I ended up doing something stupid that hurt you—and that's on me, not on you. I can see why you're upset, and you have every right to be.

What bothers me most is that you deserved better from me in that moment. You deserve someone who thinks before he acts, especially with you. I want to be that person for you. I'm sorry for being careless and for not catching myself before the damage was done.

I'm going to do better—not just say it, but actually mean it and show it. Thank you for giving me the chance to make this right.
