Disappearing Without Telling You

I'm so sorry for vanishing on you without a word. You were left wondering where I was, if I was okay, and I can only imagine how scared and hurt that made you feel. You deserved better than silence—you deserved to know what was happening.

I was in the hospital, but that doesn't excuse leaving you in the dark. I had the choice to reach out, to find some way to tell you, and I didn't do it. That was unfair to you, and I hate that I put you through that worry and confusion.

I want you to know that I'm here now, and I'm not going to shut you out like that again. You matter too much to me. You care deeply, and you deserved that care to be returned with honesty and presence, not abandonment. I'm truly sorry.
