I Lied to You and I'm Sorry

I lied to you, and I hate that I did. I was scared of losing you, so instead of being honest, I chose the one thing that could actually push you away. That doesn't make sense, and I know that now. I'm sorry for breaking your trust like that.

You deserve someone who tells you the truth, even when it's hard or risky. I want to be that person for you. I love you so much, and lying to you went against everything that means. I can't undo what I did, but I can promise you that I won't lie to you again. If something scares me or feels uncertain, I'll tell you instead of making something up.

I know sorry might not be enough right now, and I understand if you need time. But please know that I see what I did wrong, and I'm genuinely committed to doing better. You matter too much to me to lose you this way.
