Not Responding to Your Story

Meri jaan, I'm genuinely sorry for not replying to your story. I know you took the time to share something with me, and my silence probably made you feel like I didn't care — or worse, that I was ignoring you. That's the last thing I'd ever want you to feel.

The truth is I got caught up and thoughtless, not that you weren't on my mind. You're always my priority, and I should have shown that by simply responding to you. There's no excuse for making you wonder if you matter to me, because you do — so much.
